Track Access Plans
We can produce Track Access Plans for projects that detail the directions to the railway access points.
What We Do
In order for our customers to gain access to Network Rail’s infrastructure, we provide a robust planning service whilst adhering to Network Rail’s planning timescales for Rules of the Route Planning (Engineering Access Statement).
All our planning applications are made through the Network Rail Possession Planning System (PPS).
Thereafter, we represent our customers at various Network Rail engineering planning meetings to ensure a smooth transition between planning and delivery.
The majority of our clients (rail contractors, local authorities or third party developers), know how they want to deliver their project but need assistance and advice when it comes to the interface with Network Rail and the rail contractors in order to meet with Network Rail’s Engineering Access Planning and Processes.
To gain access onto the Network Rail infrastructure, involves comprehensive planning, delivery & operational services.
We offer an unsurpassed service in rail advice, interface and operational planning for our clients. Working hand in hand with our clients and Network Rail we offer a service to help delivery of our project – including assistance for tender negotiations or building tender proposals.
We work to get the best for our clients – breaking down the costs and offering innovative solutions for efficiency savings. We also provide a work site management and data collection service to help produce accurate information to assist with potential compensation claims (using checkpoint 100) which could run into millions of pounds over the life of the project.
This has been used by Babcock Rail and Balfour Beatty Rail, and was used to successfully substantiate a multi million pound claim for Siemens Rail on the GSSR Project. The system has been introduced and is being managed for Costain on the EGIP Alliance project.
